Stock up your packs with flashlights and bear spray to keep in the tent at night. Torches can always serve in order to help find things and point you in the correct direction when roaming in the evening. The bear spray, however, is a buy that you possibly and with any luck will never use but is something worth having for that additional piece of mind when you hear rustling in the woods.
